Our brother-in-law, Bruce, had to say good-bye to his 100 year-old grandfather recently. Bruce's first name is Nathan but in college he started going by his middle name (Bruce) after his grandfather. Grandpa Bruce was able to have a huge 100th birthday party in October to celebrate the tremendous life he lived. We had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving with him and the rest of the Lewins. Jonathan even got the opportunity to hear about a guitar Grandpa Bruce brought home from WWII, tune it, and play it for him. I think he may have mentioned that that guitar hadn't really been played since the war. What an amazing thing to see how much things change (and stay the same) in 100 years! I know he will be missed.
